This isn’t our first rodeo. We’ve been in the trenches, launching, scaling, and shaking up the cannabis game before. In 2021, we came back with Story Cannabis — a new chapter, stacked with a crew of industry vets, and an even bigger vision. We’re proud misfits who don’t play by the rules, because the future of cannabis isn’t built by following the same script as everyone else.

Up to 2.5 ounces of cannabis and 15 grams of extract/concentrate.

Where can I consume cannabis legally in Ohio?

On private property only. Public consumption and consumption in vehicles are prohibited.

What forms of cannabis products are available?

Flower, pre-rolls, vapes/extracts, edibles, tinctures, beverages, capsules, and topicals (availability varies by store).

Do I have to be an Ohio resident to buy adult-use?

No. Any adult 21+ with valid government ID can purchase.

Does Story Offer Discounts to Special Groups?

No. Driving while impaired is illegal; do not consume in a vehicle.

No. Crossing state lines with cannabis is illegal under federal law.

Are there purchase limits per visit?

Transactions are constrained by Ohio’s possession limits (2.5 oz / 15 g extract).

What IDs are accepted?

A valid government-issued photo ID (e.g., driver’s license or passport) showing you’re 21+.

Are purchases taxed?

Yes. Adult-use cannabis is subject to state/municipal taxes at checkout.

Is delivery or pickup available in Ohio?

Delivery: Not currently permitted for adult-use.
Pickup: Yes—many dispensaries offer online order-ahead with in-store or drive-thru pickup.

What is the Story Cannabis Return Policy?

Ohio Return Policy
In accordance with Ohio Administrative Code 1301:18-8-12, cannabis products purchased from our dispensary may be eligible for return within 30 calendar days of the purchase date under the following conditions:

Eligible Returns:

Defective products, which will be destroyed per regulatory requirements

Products that do not match the item stated on the purchase receipt

Cannabis products that were mislabeled by the maker of such product

Return Conditions:

Returns must be made at the same location where the product was purchased

Customers must present proof of purchase

A full refund of the purchase price of the product will be provided at the time of return

If applicable, a patient’s days’ supply will be adjusted to reflect the return

We do not accept returns for products that have been opened or used unless they meet the conditions above. For questions or support with a return, please contact your local dispensary team.

ANNOUNCEMENT: U.S. TREASURY DISCONTINUATION OF PENNIES

Due to the U.S. Treasury discontinued the production of pennies, Story Cannabis is no longer able to make exact change down to the penny for all transactions. Accordingly, starting on November 22nd, all transactions will be handled as follows:

To streamline your experience and ensure continuity of service across all Story locations, transaction totals will be rounded to the nearest $0.05 at checkout.
