Key Takeaways:
- Cannabis drinks come in two physical formats, carbonated (soda-style) and non-carbonated (juice or lemonade-style). Story Cannabis Arizona carries both types.
- Carbonated cannabis drinks at Story Arizona come from Keef and are sold in two dose tiers, a lighter 10mg can and a stronger 100mg can, in the same core flavors.
- Non-carbonated cannabis drinks at Story Arizona come from Sip and Uncle Arnie’s, both built around a single 100mg serving per bottle rather than a tiered dose system.
- Because drinks are absorbed through digestion rather than inhaled, they take longer to hit than smoking or vaping, which changes how you should pace yourself.
- No two cannabis drinks are dosed or formatted identically, so checking the can or bottle for its exact milligram count matters more here than in almost any other cannabis category.

What Cannabis Drinks Does Story Cannabis Carry in Arizona?
Story Cannabis Arizona carries two main types of cannabis drinks: carbonated and non-carbonated.
Cannabis beverages are one of the newer categories on the shelf, so they might be unfamiliar to shoppers who are used to flower, vapes, or edibles. The easiest way to think about them is by format rather than by brand.
Carbonated cannabis drinks are soda-style, sold in a can, and meant to be finished the way you would finish a regular soda. Non-carbonated cannabis drinks are juice or lemonade-style, sold in a bottle, and generally built around a single stronger serving that many people sip across a few pours instead of drinking all at once.
How Are Cannabis Drinks Different From Other Cannabis Products?
Cannabis drinks are absorbed through digestion, much like edibles, which makes them slower to hit but often easier to dose precisely than smoking or vaping.
A cannabis drink works more like an edible than like a vape or a pre-roll. THC passes through your digestive system before it reaches your bloodstream, which is a slower and less predictable path than inhaling.
The tradeoff for the slower onset is precision. A can or bottle of cannabis-infused soda or juice tells you exactly how many milligrams you are getting, which is harder to estimate with a joint or a dab. That predictability is a big part of why drinks have become a popular option for people who want a specific, repeatable dose.
Another factor that’s important to understand before shopping for cannabis drinks is dose tiering. Some cannabis drinks are sold at more than one strength in the same flavor lineup. That means that the same can name can mean a very different experience depending on which milligram version ends up in your hand.
What Are the Best Carbonated Cannabis Drinks in Arizona?
Story Arizona’s carbonated shelf runs on Keef, sold in a lighter 10mg can and a stronger 100mg can across overlapping flavors.
If you want something that feels the most like a regular soda, Keef is the brand to look for at Story Arizona. The line runs on two dose tiers rather than one, which is worth knowing before you grab a can by flavor alone.
Original Cola, Bubba Kush Root Beer, Blue Raspberry, Purple Passion, and Pineapple X-Press are each available at both the 10mg tier and the 100mg tier.
Mr. Puffer, C.R.E.A.M., and High Octane are only confirmed at the stronger 100mg. Always check the can for its milligram count rather than assuming based on flavor name, since the same flavor can show up at two very different doses.

What Are the Best Non-Carbonated Cannabis Drinks in Arizona?
Sip and Uncle Arnie’s make up Story Arizona’s non-carbonated drink category, both built around a single 100mg serving rather than a low/high tier split.
Non-carbonated cannabis drinks skip the fizz and lean into a juice or lemonade format instead. Unlike the Keef sodas, neither brand here sells a lighter entry-level dose, so a non-carbonated bottle is a bigger commitment per pour than a 10mg can.
Uncle Arnie’s makes an 8oz juice-style drink at 100mg THC in Smackin’ Apple, Pineapple Paradise, Sweet Peach Iced Tea, and Watermelon Wave. Sip’s single-serve line runs the same 100mg structure across Watermelon, Electric Lemon, Sunset Punch, Tropical Crush, and Wild Berry, with one variation: Dreamberry is formulated as a 2:1 THC:CBN blend rather than a straight THC drink, which tends to promote relaxation.
Sip also sells a larger 16oz format in Fruit Punch and Lemonade, the latter with a small amount of CBD alongside the THC. Because none of these non-carbonated options come in a lower-dose version, splitting a bottle into two or three smaller pours is worth considering rather than treating the whole bottle as one sitting.
Drink | Brand | Format | THC / CBD |
|---|---|---|---|
Smackin’ Apple | Uncle Arnie’s | 8oz bottle | 100mg THC |

Should You Choose a Carbonated or Non-Carbonated Cannabis Drink?
Carbonated Keef sodas suit a lighter, familiar dose, while non-carbonated Sip and Uncle Arnie’s drinks suit shoppers who want a full 100mg serving in one bottle.
The honest answer depends on how much of an experience you are looking for and how the format feels to you personally. Keef’s 10mg cans are the closer match if you want a light dose that fits into a normal afternoon or a shared moment with friends who are new to cannabis drinks.
The 100mg bottles from Sip and Uncle Arnie’s are made differently. They’re meant to be treated as smaller servings, not necessarily finished in one sitting. Many Story shoppers split a 100mg bottle across two or three smaller pours rather than drinking the whole thing at once.
If you like the ritual of cracking open a can, Keef fits that habit closest. If you would rather sip slowly from a bottle over the course of an evening, the non-carbonated options give you more room to pace yourself.
How Should You Pace Yourself With a Cannabis Drink?
Cannabis drinks take longer to hit than smoking or vaping, so wait at least 60 to 90 minutes before deciding whether you need more.
Cannabis beverages are absorbed through the digestive system, similar to edibles. That means onset is slower and less predictable than inhaled formats. Some people feel the effects in 30 minutes. For others it can take closer to two hours.
A simple approach that works well for a 100mg bottle: pour a small amount into a glass, sip it, and wait before pouring more. Treat the can or bottle as something you can return to rather than something to finish immediately.
Cannabis drinks are intoxicating regardless of format, so plan for a ride home if you are drinking away from your house, and never combine cannabis drinks with alcohol or driving.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why does the same Keef flavor show up at two different prices?
Several Keef flavors at Story Arizona are sold in two dose tiers, a lighter 10mg can and a stronger 100mg can, so the price difference reflects potency, not a discount or a different product.
Are cannabis drinks stronger than edibles?
Not necessarily. Milligram for milligram, a 100mg cannabis drink and a 100mg edible deliver a similar total dose. What differs is onset speed, since drinks are sometimes formulated to absorb a little faster than a solid edible, though this varies by brand and manufacturing process.
How long does it take for a cannabis drink to kick in?
Most people start to feel effects somewhere between 30 minutes and 2 hours after drinking. This is slower and less predictable than smoking or vaping, so give it time before deciding you need more.
Can I drink half a bottle and save the rest?
Yes. Most Story shoppers treat a 100mg bottle as multiple servings rather than a single dose. Reseal it and store it the same way you would any beverage.
Do Story's cannabis drinks contain sugar or caffeine?
It depends on the product. Ask your Story budtender for current ingredient details on any specific drink, since formulations can vary by flavor and brand.
Are cannabis drinks legal to buy in Arizona without a medical card?
Yes. Arizona allows adult-use recreational cannabis sales to customers 21 and older, so a medical card is not required to purchase cannabis drinks at Story Cannabis Arizona locations.
What is the difference between Sip's Dreamberry and its other flavors?
Dreamberry is formulated as a 2:1 THC:CBN blend rather than a straight THC drink. CBN is associated with a more sedating profile, which makes Dreamberry a common pick for later in the evening rather than daytime use.
